To be able to secure the network fully for our own conveyance it is first important to know the basics of this topic so that we can move further from the foundation. A truly secure network is said to be the network that has been made strong at its point of defense. The approach to making the network defensive is done by adopting one policy and not many. Sticking to one approach is important otherwise one may end up with a lot of load on the hard drive by installing numerous software and programs.

The identity that is under the user’s control which we are talking about here is the username and password. All the other rights that a user can have on the network come after this as, this is the stage where the first layer of an onion is taken off. This is to make sure that not everyone and anyone has an access to the network. And only those can access the network who you know and those who are allowed by you to log on.
The premier security is about the control the user has on the access of the resources of the network and the assets of the network. This can only be done by making sure that only certain people can have access to those assets. This access can also be restricted to a certain level. The security of a computer network is breached by two ways. One is the physical breach which is done by physically using the computer for a miss use. The other breach is the action made through the internet. These attacks can be prevented by bringing certain programs in use. These include firewalls, virus scanners and intrusion detection systems.
In practical life, the protection of a computer network from viruses and other network internet security threats is as possible as the access hackers can get to a network. By employing certain procedures one can secure the network by any attack from the outside.
